Do you remember that summer?

  I wrote this last night, I was thinking about the summer of 2006 and how I had this amazing group of gaia friends, and slowly one by one... we started seperating. There's only 3 of us now. This poem is dedicated to those friends.

Do you remember that summer?
The summer of love and friendship,
The nights and days we spent together...
All of us talking and giggling.

Do you remember all our jokes,
all our arugments?
all the drama?
all the good times we had together?
all our laughs?

Do you remember seeing eachother for the first time
falling in love?
Being betrayed?
Being hated?
Getting in trouble?

Do you remember me at all?
Do you remember when we promised to be best friends forever?
To always be there for eachother?
To help eachother out, through thick and thin?

Do you remember that summer?
It was only 2 years ago...
So much happened in just that one summer.
Gained friends, lost friends.
The love, the break ups.
The forgotten, and the remembered.

Do you remember that summer?
Because I do...
