I said I wouldn't
God knows I tried
But when you said you love me
I nearly broke down and cried
I don't want to be hurt again
So I've tried so hard to stand my ground
Tried to hide the feelings that nearly cost me my life
With this colorless shameful shroud
But then you took my hand
And lifted my veil
And those words became new to me
The ones that had previously been so stale

You said I love you
Now I don't know what to do
I guess all I can say is
I love you too
