I’d hate to fall
From up so high
Like an arrow plummeting
From the sky
Some believe in the end
We’ll meet a certain fate
Till then, we only
Think that death awaits
Some think Heaven/Hell
Maybe reincarnation
But what is our
Final destination?
Possibly an afterlife
Maybe nothing at all
But some people still
Try to get death to stall
Others are so prideful
They think everything’s a contest
They fight and bicker stupidly
They “have” to be the best
Though when you think about it
You see there’s so much more
Than what some think life
Is worth living for
Thus we have
Those who die
By their own hands
They fail to try
Or worse yet
They always cry
‘Cause they’re given chances
But never attempt to fly
They don’t have the faith
To believe life can change
So they sit and sulk
And live their life through pain
They take advice
As Un-acceptance
And they talk to others
Not one sentence
Since they never talk
Emotions stay bottled inside
Till they finally blow up
Rage consumes the outside
It’s one of the reasons
We start wars
We want to be noticed
Not bottled in jars
Others don’t start wars
But they do go out
And kill others with precision
Victims had no chance to shout
While doing this
Some don’t get caught
While others are found
They still tried and fought
And some can’t stop thinking
Their life completely sucks
So they pull the trigger and end their life
I really think they should have ducked
Why do we commit suicide?
I fail to see the point
Why not open up
And not go break our joints
We need to raise our standards
Stop thinking we are dumb
‘Cause if we put forth the effort
Our chance to shine will surely come
But just because
That shine might be small
Don’t give up
Stand and be tall
Some don’t like school
So they drop out
Then they can’t get a job
They start to pout
We want to be apart of it
We want to have a chance
Though given opportunities
We’re still afraid to dance
So we pass them by
We let them go
Now out of motivation
We can’t go see the show
We say “I’m not good enough”
So we never “try” and never “fail”
Then we go and break the law
And now we find ourselves in jail
Cutting yourself
You start to bleed
But no one comes
To help your needs
You save yourself and
Realize your bad turn
You realize in the end
You are gonna burn
Now in prison
You try to strive
You’re in a fight
You won’t survive
You find you are
No longer alive
DEATH
Has finally arrived

- very good it reminds me of the up lifting writing that was present during the early 19century talking about bettering ourselves without the need to destroy someone else, very expairing

"You're growing up. And rain sort of remains on the branches of a tree that will someday rule the Earth. And it's good that there is rain. It clears the month of your sorry rainbow expressions, and it clears the streets of the silent armies... so we can dance."
a quote by jim carroll.

Surprisingly, that's a good poem.
And it takes alot to convince me that a specific poem is a good one.
