Candle burning in the evening breeze,
Flickering whimsy laughing at the wind,
The light shines in the darkest shadow,
Tears of wax slide down the sides of the small candle,
Small drops of life,
From a distance we see a small flicker,
When we get close we see its true beauty,
Its true importance,
The light is small but it is so strong
Shining on all around it,
The nights sloth by,
Slow and lasting,
The candle struggles,
And goes out
All returns to darkness.
In the distance there is a small flicker,
A new light
A new hope.
