• So forth came the midnight
    In which I hid
deep within the confines of its shady cowl
    Feeding off the fear
of the fauna in the vegetation

With wings adorned with blackened feathers
and head tilted toward the sky
    I looked toward thee
    a goddess in a tree
    hiding a stifled cry

I took her hand and pressed lips entwined
with a passion that made Devils weep
    With eyes glowing crimson
    and hair flowing silver
    we soared in love
    Unto the darkened sky
