• The old man is walking.
    Step-step-stepping and he
    Smiles.

Nothing can stop him and he’s walking.
    Grin-grin-grinning while the
    Birds burst,
    Brains hemorrhage,
The sky turns to milk while he
    Grins.
    Walks.

    The mere sight makes you
    Scream

    And he laughs,
    Laugh-laugh-laughing at your pain while
    Lights fizzle and pop,
    Cats yowl,
    Rats flee,
    Oceans boil,
    And windows crack.

What is he? Why is he?
    No
    One
    Knows

You see him and the world tilts.
    Sanity slithers uncomfortably and
    You scream inside,
Don’t see me, don’t see me!
    But he does.
He stares straight into your soul
    With nothing eyes,
    Eyes that fall endlessly dark.
    Empty

    But he sees.
See, see, sees you until you can
    Take
    No
    More.

    And he laughs,
    He laugh, laugh, laughs
    Like the chitter chatter
Pitter patter of your blood and
    Shattered bones.

    And he walks.
    Help those that he wants.
    Those that make him grin.

    Cities burn and he
    Step, step, steps.

    He walks.

    Crooked smile, he walks.

    Walks.

    To you.
