• Counting the stars that flutter, summer nights,
    cliche moments with fireflies.
But the only fire I can see is in your eyes,
upon the moment we woud say goodbye.

Winter comes and so do you,
dressed out in snow white and winter blue.
And I'm afraid to speak the words so true,
so I'll write them down later to send on through.

I had a dream to comply to my wish,
one that I would try to grasp onto!
If only I could ask for one kiss,
before I've gone and lost you.

But I'll keep waiting, for one day I'll find the courage.
Love comes with the seasons, and one day I will learn,
    to speak.

Spring then, let's fall in love again,
I've admitted my love since winter's end.
And whilst dancing in the rain, can we pretend?
That this time together will never end.

Summer time now, for the second time,
we'd sit on the porch and sing and rhyme,
parties and sleepovers just you and I,
hiding so our parents would never find.

I had a dream to comply to my wish,
one that I would try to grasp onto!
If only I could ask for one kiss,
before I've gone and lost you.

But I'll keep waiting, for one day I'll find the courage.
Love comes with the seasons, and one day I will learn,
    to speak.

Autumn now, and I think we're drifting a bit apart,
and everyday I'd confess the love in my heart,
and I knew you were always busy from the start,
but this distance is tearing me apart!

You're only a hundred miles away,
and I'm still dying to see you, too.
Frankly I could care less which day,
as long as I can have just one kiss from you.
A hundred miles is nothing to me,
as long as you promise not to forget,
that one day you will leave,
but I won't have moved on just yet.
