The sun rose up and tossed its glare,
Right in my face it gave its stare.
My worn eyelid fluttered,
My lips randomly muttered.
I stretched my paw, what scars it bore,
My stomach felt real sore.
My nose twitched,
With an annoying itch.
the hot dog vendor was nearby!
I set off with my nose towards the sky.
I crept stealthily, a silent hunter,
i carefully crawled, I could spare no blunder.
Alas! A boy walked to me,
He was quite young, from what i see.
He reached his hands to me, I just ran off,
The boy sobbed with a cough,
His sandwich dropped,
I looked back and stopped.
"Wow, my luck is finally turning!"
I thought, my paws racing,
Though i was not the only one,
I was hit by a couple of tons.
The horror did not end,
I was dragged 7 miles, maybe ten.
It finally stopped,
But i couldn't even hop.
Half of my leg was bout a mile off,
My head felt just so soft.
The car doors opened,
Voices were softened.
"Is it dead?"
asked a boy in red.
I heard as they whispered,
How to get rid of me.
The decision was then final,
I was to go in a spiral.
The father took a knife,
ended my life.
