• The sun warmed the soft earth below
The trees and bushes all covered with snow
    The clouds floated lazily above
Light as a feather, soft as a dove
The air was cold and chilled to the bone
With frigid wind that made you its own
I watched the years go passing by
It seemed this forest had become just a lie
The sun’s rays had been hot back then
Snow was never a part of back when
The clouds in the past were scarce in the sky
Now the clouds are frequent; I don’t know why
The air used to be warm, as well as the breeze
Not a wind that could truly freeze
Now that I look all around here
I realize just what can happen in a year
A place of happiness can turn to despair
    It doesn’t even matter where
