Our pastel nurseries
Were so thin
We fell right through
When we tried to climb in
For the world had snatched
Us from the womb
Underveloped
And much too soon
While we wander
In the dark
Bound to kill us
And leave it's mark
Watch us slip
Out of line
Watch us slip
Into the grime
Because when you thrusted us
Into the world
You forgot to teach us
How to be normal boys and girls.
