Poem of a Dead Soldier

• Description: I wrote a poem for remembrance day back in elementary school.
  I thought it pretty well done XD
  So I'm going to see what others think.
  Just please no harsh comments such as: "It sucks" or etc. Not appreciated >.<;
  It's a very simple poem, nothing complex or hard to understand. Not as good as Flander's Field, but I love it nonetheless :]

Wake me up when it's over..
Wake me up when the birds start to sing
Wake me up when it's over..
Wake me up when flowers start to bloom in the spring
Wake me up when it's over..
Wake me up when the ocean becomes still instead of roaring
Wake me up when it's over..
Wake me up when the skies are clear and the sun shining
Wake me up when it's over..
Wake me up when you hear childrens laughter
Wake me up when it's over..
I remain sleeping..
I will never be awaken.
