you said it wasnt me
you said we werent to be
you said you set me free
blind to the truth one cannot see
only with you am i free
but bound to this tree
you remain everything but free
eyes closed i beckon you to see
beside you its always me
to defend you i raise from my knee
let my blood sed you free
let it make you see
may you run far from this tree
mow it is i who have set thee free
maybe another time and place we will be
for now i take ur place on this tree
now i beg you, hear my plee
let my love forever be carried by thee

Having only one rhyme in a poem gets boring and forced.

Try using more than one and using various rhyming schemes. Or dont even rhyme at all. Great poetry doesnt have to. smile
