Its overcast outside,
the sky is wrapped in a warm quilt.
Its yet warm and rainy,
and humid just a tilt.
Plants come to life,
so do I inside.
I forget about my problems,
and all the times I lied.
I'm outside now,
with hair sopping wet.
I pray a little prayer,
and with god, I know, my life is set.
This peace, this joy,
it flows within me and out.
Dry inside, I sit at the window,
Jesus is alive no doubt.

Well, even though I'm a hardcore agnostic, it's still a pretty good poem.
The only thing that bothers me slightly is how every now and then you have an odd long line. Like with the "and with god, I know, my life is set" line or "the sky is wrapped in a warm quilt." They just seem awkward to me. It's good though - Report As Spam

- I agree with all the people below me, even without Christian beliefs, it is a well-typed poem.

Awh... So sweet.
I'm not Christian, but it's a great poem anyways, and that's saying something. I hope the rest of your congregation appreciates it, too. - Report As Spam
