Past All Pain
Cry on my shoulder, love, it will be alright
I will hold you and protect you on this lonely night
Though the day’s gone by, bitter as it was
I will still say that I love you only just because
Take my hand and hold it tight
I will make everything all right
My shoulders were made for crying
So don’t you stop your trying
Turning your head gently, I look into your eyes
I look past all the pain and see the compromise
Your tear-streaked face looks fierce and worn
The image resembles an outlaw torn
Such a beautiful face should not be down
Your wonderful smile, now worn as a frown
My arms around you, sweet warmth within
The long journey’s over now, but where did we begin?

- It speaks volumes in what you want to happen, and what will more then likely happen. Thought it wouldnt happen to me, yet it did.
