• As the sun shines through the rain
    Stealing darkness' shadows,
    Driving through their pain;

    It drives a smile through faces,
    Makes butterflies come play;
    To see such a beautiful thing
    That chases demons away.

    Lights tickle with the mind,
    Chase across the sky,
    Dazzle and contort,
    'Til innocent cannot lie.

    When the rain becomes still,
    The lights still play,
    Until they are dimly lulled;

    The butterflies still play,
    The birds still peep,
    The children still smile,
    Until drifting off to sleep.

    When the night takes over,
    Darkness prevails,
    But still the innocent see,
    The most beautiful star tails.
