I can see you in my dreams.
Why must you torment me so?
I can get no rest from you.
I can still see your form in the snow.
It's been a year and still you appear.
I've told you I'm sorry a thousand times.
And yet you still point your finger.
And I know there is no way to repent for my past crimes.
In my memories you're beautiful and vibrant.
But when you visit me by the pale moons light.
I recoil at the sight of your decaying flesh.
Your eyes are no longer bright blue, but instead a deathly white.
I can't take another night.
I can no longer live with this dread.
I will join her in the afterlife.
The girl at the end of the bed.
