I can't see you
but I feel you here with me
I can almost see your face
behind this blank page
And I need to see your face again
Pen in hand
I can almost hear your voice
As the pen scratches against the paper
My ears strain to hear that old familiar sound
Just out of reach
You're in the ink drying on the page
I keep writing
I need you here with me
You're in the spaces between the words
And the letters
If I could only get a bit closer
Maybe I could find you
You're in the tears that blur the ink
You're all around me
And within me
Always and forever
You are a part of me

- It's very metaphorical. It has a nice effect, very poetic!

- Don' usually lik epoems that don' rhyme, but it works really well with this poem. The whole imagery deal was really nice, I could really get into it. Good job, even though it's not what I usually read.
