I’ve been beaten and hurt, thrown into the dirt
Kicked too many times.
I’ve been beaten time and time again.
A hamster will eat it's own children.
Darkness surrounds me
A child of age nine,
I cannot see,
But I hope that they cannot find me.
I’m playing a simple game,
One of hide and seek,
I want to open the door to just get a peek,
To see if they’ve found where I am.
I’ve been beaten and hurt, thrown into the dirt
Kicked to many times.
I’ve been beaten time and time again,
A hamster will eat it’s own children.
I can’t defend myself at all,
Here in my closet, hearing their call.
My parents our playing my simple game,
But when they play it isn’t the same.
If I win than it’s all fun and play,
If I lose than I get beaten today.
I’ve been beaten and hurt, thrown into the dirt,
Kicked too many times.
I’ve been beaten time and time again,
A hamster will eat it's own children.
It isn’t just me,
It’s other kids too,
Each doing as much as they can do,
Just to hope they’ll be saved.
Each with their own silent plea,
‘somebody come and rescue me’.
I’ve been beaten and hurt, thrown into the dirt,
Kicked too many times.
I’ve been beaten time and time again,
A hamster will eat it’s own children.
Was I a mistake?
Should I have been born?
What have I done to deserve so much scorn?
I am afraid of dying to young,
By the hand of those who until I fell asleep, sung.
I wish with all my heart to have someone take me away,
Away from the parents who beat me each day.
And please, please, save the rest too.
Because they feel the pain that I do.
I’ve been beaten and hurt, thrown in the dirt,
Kicked too many times.
I’ve been beaten time and time again,
A hamster will eat it’s own children.
No longer are they parents,
Though they brought us onto this earth,
They gave each and everyone one of us birth.
But now us they have killed,
Our blood they’ve spilled.
No longer are we theirs.
I’ve been beaten and hurt, thrown in the dirt,
Kicked too many times.
I’ve been beaten time and time again,
A hamster will eat it’s own children.
A footstep in the hall I hear,
I sit here, quaking with fear.
I don’t want to die, no sir.
A click of the closet door,
Game over.

- Description: This is a homework assignment we had in class, um yeah...the poem belongs to me. My teacher adored this but I made it in like 15 minutes (heh heh....I forgot it was due and made it in the time before school on the school's computer)

@kikuMizu
Ah that was something we'd been talking about in English. Mrs. R made that strange analogy to child abuse and it rhymed so I put it in. - Report As Spam
