Opening our minds, was the first sin.
Lust and murder, definitely what came after.
So that the Jewish carpenter could save our minds, setting up a stage.
Jesus Christ, member of the holy trinity dubbed love and father by his congregation.
The magician, the carnival act, such a hypnotist.
Feed the poor sheep, they have lost their way
As long as they praise the almighty, he shall not die, that's the plan
Because we're sinners?
We are, correct?
We spat when we ate your book, we spat when we learned sex, we spat when we denied.
Pray mere mortal I can kiss father's feet, pray dear god to cure my ills.
Preach so you may not age and die like silly mortals.
Preach and fabricate-I mean teach the truth to the faithless
So you may live on forever.
In Jesus country, where heaven is still real.

- I love how you lead it all down to that one ending line of 'In Jesus country, where heaven is still real', 5/5
