• Pain is a terrible fall
    down that rocky, muddy slope
    you cry, you whine, but you get back up
    although you can't escape without mope

    Pain is being a showoff
    trying to kick that ball flying above your head
    trying to do the impossible
    and then landing on your back like a piece of lead

    Pain is hitting that wall
    that just happened to appear from thin air
    walking backwards, not paying attention
    strangely, I think all was fair

    Pain is a virus
    thats creeps up on you and bites
    food turns to vomit and dreams into nightmares
    sickness, sadly, puts up great fights

    Pain is knowledge
    finding the morals from our mistakes
    when we grow and learn we become better people
    so before falling again, try using your brakes
