    If Nothing is forever, let me continue to be,
    If Everyone is blind, let me continue to see.
    If Nothing is perfect, let me be so,
    If Everything changes, then I won't let it go.

    Forever is never, and never forever,
    Holding one close is only short time together.
    If you say you'll love me forever, I won't take it to heart,
    Because even if you do, till death do we part.

    No one is certain what lies beyond death,
    But I'll keep my mind open till my last given breath.
    Even if we play a game of catch with each other's heart,
    Soon one of us will miss, and the other falls apart.

    Picking up the pieces is a hard job to do,
    It's an even tougher job if no one's there for you.
    Alone now I sit, trying to piece back my heart,
    But it's a hard thing to do with only dust on my part.

    Dust is all that remains of this poor broken thing,
    Too many times broken to be broken again.
    I'll try and move on, but my promises are blank,
    Because you promised me forever, to that you can thank.

    Roses are red, violets are blue,
    I must be a violet, because a rose describes you.
    Pretty to look at, but thorny underneath,
    You're love is like a sword without any sheath.

    I once saw the beauty I once got to hold,
    But blue I am, and foolish is my gold.
    A violet with out a vase, plucked and left to die,
    But my seeds will carry on, and I guess so will I.
