Broken

• Description: After writing poetry in school doing revisions of poetry(writing it over,changing lines,making it completly diffrent) we made,i told my teacher that i loved one of my poems so much,the i couldnt edit it at all. She said "Edit implies somethings broken,it needs to be fixed" and she left telling me to write another poem. My friend looked at me and thus"edited,broken,needs to be fixed!!omg!!" and so this was born.

It’s broken,
We’re broken
We’re broken on the outside,
Broken on the inside
Shattered
Cracked
Dead
Done.
We’re broken on the inside
But that’s ok,
We weren’t programmed to function anyway.

Good clean simple. What a poem should be. I still kinda wanted a little more at the end thought.
