The light of day
The greeting in the morning
While in bed you lay
As you open your eyes,
There are slits of light up on your wall
The sun is up and has just begun to rise
The opposite of the moon at night
So yellow and bright
You can't possibly be in a mood
For a fight
Its dark
Then bright
Mother Nature loves the sight
When down and feeling blue
And the sun is up
And has brightened you day,
"I feel happy!"
