    We met on the story rug as we sat and listened to the story.
    When it came time to for recess we decided to hang with each other.
    We have never been apart since then.
    We have been connected at the hips ever since that faithful day.
    We have been through it all both good and bad, side by side.
    Even now as we sit at home doing homework and dealing with our high school drama we will never drift apart as long as we remember that day when we first met.
