• God made the universe in just seven days
    He painted us out in his own special way
    He thought about what
    The Earth should be
    He thought of the plants, the animals, the land, and the sea
    He planned out the colors
    So rich and devine
    He mixed different shades
    He found in his mind
    Violets are royal purple
    The poppys such a brilliant red
    That when they caught your eye
    A tear was sure to shed
    God thought of the creatures
    Whom he would bless
    God gave them peace
    Without a single regret
    He gave the land courage
    He gave the sea hope
    But before he left
    He had some final words of his own
    I knew there would be costs
    For the actions of my own
    The life's journey that is complete
    Will forever go on
    Many years from now
    When my life's journey is done
    Like God said
    In heaven I will forever go on
    Just like the world we are part of God's plan
    When its our time
    He'll reach down his hand
    Yes, it will be hard
    To just let someone go
    But God had a spot in heaven
    That needed a gentle soul
    So when you start missing someone
    Remember, if you just wait
    When God has a spot in heaven
    They'll meet you at the gate.
