• The blurred faces worry the ballerina
Her feet almost magically float over the stage
Little did she know about Karina
She had sent over the lion's den,
The ballerina was in the cage
The colors swirled in harmonious joy
The critics watched with unseen glances
Dark violet slowly darkened the room with it's veil
Strained muscle moving faster and faster in a maddening fashion
Salty water moved down her leg dropping to a thud on the hard wood
    Clapping echoed from the walls
Her legs gave out falling, unforgivable
These were the feet of a goddess she told herself
Her blank expression left a darker stain of brown upon the ground
Rough breathing echoed from the empty room,
    White slowly cast it's veil
    The young ballerina looked up,
Sweat rolled down her soft skin
She saw the colors move in an almost harmonious joy
