• Why shouldn't Pretty girls cry?
Tears of mascara running down her cheeks,
dark pain flowing in rivulets for all to see and pity.
Her slim delicate shoulders shake with every,
    sobb, gasp, and weep.
A strong hand clasps her shoulder as a
    boyish face asks,
"Why are YOU crying, pretty girls shouldnt cry."
She looks up and a smile breaks through, even in pain
    she is beautiful.
But what about the rest of us?
Should we suffer, poverty, disease, and pain,
alone and out of sight, all for preseving beauty thats
    only skin deep?
    stare
