Dear Vampire,
Do you know how much I want you?
Do you understand how much I loathe you?
Do you know how much I must envy you?
You’re beautiful and immortal,
You’re obnoxious and wealthy.
You can do whatever you want,
But I can understand how that can be a burden.
Everyone has judged you,
Everyone has loved you.
Perhaps you’re sick of it all
Or maybe you’re too pompous to be ashamed.
Maybe you’ve seen this all in another light,
Haven’t you?
I would have if I were a vampire,
But why would I want to be?
You’re basically a more improved version of a zombie,
No one wants to admit it.
You are and I know it,
You’re arrogant because you have what everyone wants.
Beauty and youth,
I am naturally young and you are ancient on the inside.
You are ugly and old on the inside,
But not on the outside.
I am ugly and young on the outside,
But not on the inside.
The problem is that people judge you by how you look,
By your label which is what you have mastered.
Is that what makes you powerful?
You’re beauty, youth and charm?
Damn you,
Oh, you’ve already been damned.
But, not by me,
By the Lord…which one?
Good or bad?
Light or dark?
You tell me vampire,
You should know everything because you’ve seen and felt everything…
