Hope is something I lost
Looking back only causes pain
When I do, I cry
And if I don't I'm nothing
Will the day ever come?
The silence is deafening
And the darkness is blinding
Hiding is what I did all my life
And I will stop today
Staying in the dark is bad
It will never be as good as suffering
To suffer in the light
The dream I long
The dream that is shamed
My shadowed heart is hurt
That dream is impossible.....
