• I woke up this morning,
    I thought: It's my birthday
    But i still had to write an essay,
    so i decided to run away

    I took a look behind me,
    you'll never guess what i saw,
    the police were chasing after me,
    yelling "You broke the law!"

    "you still have an essay to write''
    said the police man in a low tone,
    i wanted to call my parents,
    but i didn't have a phone.

    The police began to chase me,
    i didn't know where to run,
    i thought: I'd better do something,
    the police man has a gun!

    Suddenly I heard a sound,
    I started to rum my eyes,
    I realized this was all a dream,
    what a great surprise!

    I jumped out of bed,
    grabbed a paper and pen,
    I started to write my essay,
    titled "Today I turned ten"
