Out in the darkness
The froggies do sing
A chorus with crickets
And other night things
The raindrops fall softly
On the leaves of the trees
Whose branches are blowing
In a warm gentle breeze
The stars in the sky
Are hidden from sight
And there is not a moon
On this lonely night
The tears are beginning
From my eyes to spill
For heartbreak and sadness
Are all that I feel
I lay here in sorrow
Alone in our bed
Holding tight to the pillow
Where you once lay your head
My soul it is seeking
For you it is crying
And into the night
It swiftly goes flying
Into the land of dreams
Where happiness is mine
We are reunited
Only for a short time
We stroll together
Through a garden of love
Star flowers around us
Below and above
The music of angels
Fills up the night air
You look into my eyes
We haven’t a care
Flickers of lightning
And rumbles of thunder
Rips through the darkness
And tears it asunder
As your lips touch mine
And we tightly embrace
Our hearts beat together
They never lose pace
And when I awaken
To another new day
The beating of your heart
In my heart does stay
The love of each other
The two of us share
Gives me strength to go on
When I find none nowhere
Until we’re together
Again side by side
A kind caring husband
And your beautiful bride
Laying together
Blissfully sleeping
Embracing each other
There is no more weeping
While out in the darkness
The froggies do sing
A chorus with crickets
And other night things

- OMG! I love it...it's good all the way through, and I love how it all pulls together in the end, like love should. Thanks ^^ 5/5
