My heart is broken;
I can’t feel it beat.
The thought of you makes the pain worse.

I try to not think of you day after day,
But it never goes away.

My love is fading,
My heart stopped racing,
And my watery tears turned to blood.

I will always be there for you when you need me,
But right now you hate me so I will leave you be.

My hopes are dead,
And my soul is like dawn.
I wish for death,
But I know god wants me to live on.

My heart will never heal from this,
But will only suffer and crumble.
I can’t talk to you plainly,
Because my words will start to stumble.

At the sight of you my breath is cut short;
At the sound of you voice;
My heart never stops racing.

I wish for you to love me;
The way I am in love with you.
But I know that will never happen;
So I will just keep hoping for that day to come.

Wow....made me think of my ex adn how much i'm still in love.
I love your style. But, sadly, you can't keep hoping....I know it feels so much better to have the hope adn keep wishing, but you'll never get over him if you can't let it go and move on. that wish will turn to regret and then it will take over your live, adn you'll never move on correctly.
