=emancipation=
sitting alone but still it lingers
your stinging touch, your strength, your fingers
your voice echoes through the trees
and its taking over, it's like a disease
abused and lonely, but does it matter?
theres nothing left to bruise and batter
i've fallen harshly, bent and shattered
its how you left me jagged, and tattered
but through the peices an image appears
juts one is left to push back the tears
a single step is all i needed
and through the door my life proceeded...
