-
In the river she stays,
And waits the day away.
In my heart she bleeds,
This little lovely thing,
That calls herself a queen.
Is she blinded by herself,
Or is there anybody else?
If there's hope for her,
I've not found it here.
Is there time to grieve,
I'm tearing at the seams,
Over this lovely queen.
Or is she a queen at all,
I'd like to see her fall,
And end her broken reign.
This isn't what I asked for,
This isn't how it should be,
She fell into his arms,
And woke up in the sea.
Little queen of the sea,
Maiden in my heart,
If you tear it apart,
I'll only bleed.
Yesterday is now tomorrow,
I don't think I've bought or borrowed,
But now within my sorrow,
I've lost my lovely queen.
Wake inside your prison,
There's no light that isn't given,
And now I'm asking, gilded maiden,
Set us both free.
He isn't you or I,
This isn't time to cry,
This is the moment to fly,
This is our only goodbye.
My shadowy, lovely queen.

- Title: ~My Lovely Queen~
- Artist: WitchAlchemist
- Description: Could be a poem, could be a song. A tribute to a fallen 'queen' of someone's heart, although queen doesn't necessarily have to mean a person at all. A very subject-to-interpretation bit of writing.
