The smoke curling as it flows
The flames licking, the heat it shows
The fire burns and lights the sky
The moon and stars start to cry
The fire sizzles soon goes out
The people, animals run and shout
The fire gone, all sizzled down
The smoke keeps flowing, alerts the town
The tragedy, one life lost
The child, curious he knew not
The match was struck, the house did burn
Destroyed the house and every fern
A curious kid, forgotten match
They made a rather tragic pact
The house has burned, the child gone
All because he played along
Can't blame the kid, he was so bored
But still of course, he will be mourned
A kid, so young yet rather tame
Died, just from want of a new game.

- Title: Play with Fire
- Artist: Ellismere_Insane
- Description: This poem is about a young naive boy with nothing to do. I wrote this poem because my parents, being fire fighters, have had to be parts of some sad stories were people were killed in fires.
