You fail to notice me, but I continue to notice you,
And our friendship long ago had come to an end,
We used to think our friendship would always be true,
You used to be my childhood friend.
But then without warning, you moved away,
And you left me sad and alone,
My happiness plumeted as I wasn't okay,
With no way to reach you, no address, not even the number to your phone.
And now I've found you once more,
I had moved to a new home and to your school,
Metaphorically, I was withered to the core,
And when I tried to talk to you and failed, I felt like a fool.
Now I long to talk to you, but over the years I've become too shy,
Always being pushed around, but when I saw you, I was almost singing,
But when you ignored me, I tried my best not to cry,
Emotionally, I was, and am, takeing a beating.
But know this, I miss you so,
I wish it were our friendship I could mend,
but the chances of me being fully happy will always be low,
Untill your are once more, My Childhood Friend.
