As I watch the rain fall,
I think of you.
The steady beat against the ground,
Do you think of me too?

As I watch the sun rise,
I dream of you.
The way the sky goes all kinds of beautiful,
Do you dream of me too?

As I watch the waves wash upon the the shore,
I think of you.
The soothing sound as wave meets rock,
Do you think of me too?

As I watch the flames and dancing shadows,
I dream of you.
The mesmerizing way they twist and turn,
Do you dream of me too?

As I watch the rain fall,

that was great, i loved the wave part. it reminded me of one of my favorite songs, " i hope you dance" by: Leann Womack. you should listen to it. i loved it! your poem was amazing!
