AB:
Madness is lovely, don't you think?
Everyone expects the unexpected
Absolute power turns lifewater sour
But how else would one regulate such a trifecta?
The lifewater, the peacekeeper, and the slavemaster.
Yes, money, war and hope it's
Practically entropic
It spreads like collateral
Splinters by the trillions
From the godforsaken forest
The river runs vermillion
Enemy detected
AH:
Enemy detected and you're all alone
Protection? You can't see from your own throne
Now throw me a bone or I may get lost
You hide the disentery
And cling to the missionary
It's so scary but I know you're not real
Even though you feel so vile
You smell so sweet
You taste so wicked
And you look like deceit
Well, you are what you eat
Everything about us is dust; Everything within us is disgust
We are sick
AB:
Sick from the dust being blown into spirals
And taking our memories; Intentionally viral
And all of me becomes none of you
And all of you want none of this
But it's too late
Your blouse is stained
With what remained
Which certainly wasn't real
But neither are your thoughts
So you don't get caught
By the mind police
AH: They run, taking prisoners
AB: Everybody take cover!
AH: They will never surrender
AB: But neither will we!
AH: We will storm the highest points
AB: Of the castles they built
AH: And eat the apologies of Socrates
AB: With swords at our hilts
AH:
It may be hypocrisy but to abhor democracy
Is a step in the direction of liberation
But is disintegration preferable or is the shadow undeterable
Because the umbra is suffocating
And I've yet to see the mitigating factor in your voice
AB: How can I discern from a sea of voices?
AH: The one reflecting my hopes and fears
AB: The one protecting my pain and tears
AH: The one collecting my forgotten years
AB: The one that can save me
Right here
Right now
The only way to do that is begin, isn't it?
AH: It is, indeed
AB: Then lets clear the board, only 27 moves to checkmate
And 27 miles to crawl on your knees
To destiny
Manifested in me
That's what we're looking for, right?
Look mom, no hands!
No handlebars, either
Safety features aren't top priority
Because the 27 minorities can't overrule my authority
So crawl
Fall
Erase every wall
Escape that which calls
Like Echo and Narcissus
He called to the one
Who couldn't ever come
AH: And couldn't ever be, like the sympathy in me
AB: Verizon sends radiation into the sea
AH: And it's corroding society
AB: And exploding inside of me-
AH: Time's up.

- Title: Practically Entropic
- Artist: SilvertongueSagittarius
- Description: If you have read my poem "Impending yesterdays" (Or, most of my poetry really) You know that my friend Alex and I write together a lot. Well, for a poetry reading that I actually have just returned home from, we wrote this. It isnt about anything in particular. It's just a demonstration of lyrical prowess. The "AB" parts are Alex and the "AH" parts are me. And I have to give it to him, he wrote some sick stuff.
