• It's raining
    And the music is loud
    Drowining out my life
    All I have is here and now

    The rain pounds over my head
    Beating my thoughts into a coma until my common sense is reborn
    Everything I hide deep in my mind
    Seems to bleed back out through my pores

    The music heals me
    The notes understand me
    The author and I have a common interest
    And that is a plead of insanity

    I seem to become my emotion with each verse
    And my emothion is pain
    Sitting her howling this poetry
    While it continues to rain

    It's raining
    And the music is fading out
    Taking away my sheltered comfort
    All I had was here and now
