I see you walking by with her
and every step you take,
we get farther and farther apart
as if it was our fate.

You pretend like you don't see me,
but I know you're dying inside.
I'm dying inside as well
and it's not that easy to hide.

I pretend there's something in my eye
so you don't see my tears,
but honestly the truth must be
we're both just hiding fears.

We're both pretending we're just fine
but as we both can see,
we need each other in our lives.
So our love was meant to be.
