My exterior is hard
Tough and not easily broken
With a border outlining
Who they believe I am
Inside the pages
Of my life
I'm a different book then you think
I'm not as tough as you think
I'm delicate as a flower
And easily torn
But I am still mighty
Though the words are worn
I'm like a horror book
That can scare you with things
Or fascinate you
Like a Sci-Fi book
I'm full of mystery too
Like Nancy Drew
But perhaps I'm sad
And romantic inside?
Or maybe one who just loves to laugh
To see others smile too
Or just wanting to twist the end a little
But you can't choose
I am who I am
Something you cannot change
Like me or not
You can't make an understatement about me
For you cannot judge a book by its cover.

- Title: ~ A book ~
- Artist: transiti0n
- Description: It just goes to show, you can't judge a book by its cover. I changed my sisters poem around A LOT and reformatted it. I just wanted to know what you would think of it. My version is much longer then hers but I loved her idea so much I wanted to put it in the arenas.
