• Signs of Fall
    4/21/07

    Leaves fall and flowers wilt,
The grass turns brown and the breeze blows strong,
Squirrels start packing high on food,
And leaves start turning yellow to brown,

Children laugh and begin to play,
With piles of leaves racked on the ground,
They run and jump and gather some more,
    To their hearts content forevermore,

Scarves are wrapped around their necks,
And jackets are thrown into their arms,
Mittens, beanies and long socks too,
To keep children from catching cold.
