• Colder than ice
    Absolute zero
    The temperature of space
Freeze in less than an instant
    Zero. Chance. Of. Survival.

We fight it on space walks
    We come close to it
on our dieing marble of a planet
    The poles, north and south
    "freakin' freezing" you could say.

    But you don't know
    how cold absolute zero
    Just. Truly. Is.
    I don't either.
    But some people do.

They sit in labs and see
    See what happens when
    Particles. Sit. Still.
    Zero movement.
    Ultimately frozen.

    Astronauts face that.
    They have technology that helps
    Yet they are still cold
    And afraid
Of the particles in their bodies.
    Freezing completely

    It's honestly
    Crazy.
    Particles, I mean.
    Constantly moving.
    That's temperature.

    The motion of particles
    Faster=Hotter, right?
    Slower=Colder
    Then, really...
    Absolute Zero is no motion.
    Is it really a temperature?

    Does it matter?
    Probably not
In "the grand scheme of things"
    As you may call it.
    Oh well.

    Maybe
    I'm just ignorant.
    Just another person.
    Rationally being irrational.
    Whatever.
