Take a deep breath,
Fight away the pain.
Here I am without you.
With nothing to gain.

Friends to the end,
That’s what you always said.
But I guess that wasn’t true,
For now that friendship is dead.

You changed so quickly,
You just faded away.
And I stood in the background,
And broke every day.

The promises you made,
The laughs we shared.
Disappeared without warning,
Like you never even cared.

I guess I’ve learned a lesson,
Along this rocky road.
I couldn’t truly trust you,
And my secrets shouldn’t have been told.

my honest opinion is that friendship poems suck real hard... but i loved this... had to ignore the friend thing... though...
