All
These
Memories
are weakening
as we speak Faint
images of true friends, fading
with the moments What is going on,
what sin did I commit against her All that was
committed was kindness no cruelty existed We are both
adults here, all beyond petty insecurities Betrayal and malice
have no place here, right? There must be a reason; no one does
things just to do them Nothing but kindness, love, a friend that she
needed What went wrong, was it my own failures that finally
came together Favors forgotten, sacrifices ignored, what does
she have that I don’t. All the things I did for her, the words
that I said when she cried mean nothing to her
when she does not even bother to say
goodbye, to her few true friends
goodbye
