Red butterly
The anger inside
A filthy cage
Where it Resides
Orange butterfly
Fanning the flame
Keeping us all
Unequivically tame
Gold butterfly
A tiny hope
Keeping the knot out of the rope
Green Butterfly
for peace and calm
Fragile tranquility
a soothing balm
Blue butterfly
For sad tears
Brought on by loneliness
And haunting fears
Indigo Butterfly
Violent and blue
Making me wish
I still had you
Purple butterfly
Wrought with fear
Hold back the pain
Never shed a tear
Black butterfly
For the Decay
Slowly I've died
I'm dead today
So many colors
To represent the world
For before we die
We are the rainbow colored butterfly

- That was a really great poem! Next to Lullaby, this is my favorite!

- pretty, but some of it doesn't make sense. Then again, poems are supposed to be confusing...

- Huh. not bad. I don't get the orange one, though; how is fanning a flame connected to being, or being kept, tame? And the red just doesn't fit; you need to describe its movement, instead of trying to equate filth with anger.I liked the green and gold stanzas, though.
