• It is a starless night
But I know they will be out soon.

    I look up.
    The blackness fills the sky.

    Still semi-light
    The night is calm.

    It is not cold
    But I am still shivering.

    Then slowly one by one
    They come out.

    I see the first star
    But I forgot to wish.

Too many things crowd my mind-
    You, Me, Him, Her.

I search the sky for answers
    But find none.

    I listen to the music
But it does me no good.

    I am frustrated
These words come out hard and fast.

    Brighter and brighter
    Constellations stand out.

I try to find the ones I know-
O'Ryan's Belt, The Big Dipper, The Little Dipper.

    But I can't
So no comfort comes from the sky.

    Still the sight is beautiful
    I takes my breath away.

    My neck is craned back
As far as it will go.

    I lower my gaze
Because my neck has start to hurt.

    And serenity washes over me
    A slow constant pull.

    So as I write this
    I realize...

This is want"s suppose to happen
And I am sorry it hurts.
