• Fear drowns me,
    Accusations fall on me like the flint of the axe,
    Hate shakes me,
    as thunder does the sky.
    Through blurry glass,
    I see your angry face;
    Your eyes a sea of flames and your look of scorn.
    I thought you were my friend,
    but I made that mistake.
    You've sent me to a Hell on Earth,
    with chains that chafe my flesh.
    How can I forgive you,
    you know I can't.
    You took my precious treasures,
    and left me on my own.
    But forgive you I must,
    because it's better than hate.
    It will fill your lungs with fire and char your heart with blame.
    It will lead to your ruin,
    and with that I will not say;
    is what I hope to happen as I end this day of sorrow and strife.
