• Through the earth we fall

tumble in darkness, to the hall

    where ancient sirens sleep

and we lay down to keep.

    Immortal Darkness sends its pull

as we accept its mighty lull

thought of wonder to us flow

and we relent, for we shall know.

    There amber eyes oven wide

where we are powerless to hide

    proclamations burning black

turn us of longing what we lack.

And in the fire of their eyes there gleams

a serenity that falls past mortal dreams

shall we wonder again, at last

of what has come, and what will pass.
