• When the oceans splash
to the sand beyong our reach
The people on the other side
    must truly wonder
    Where it was before them
    they make up tales
Of the oceans and sands upon
    They tell of loved ones,
    Mothers, Fathers, Sons and Daughters
    Going beyond their reach
    They say

    "Hush My darling,
    My lovely Darling,
    Have no fears,
    You will always
    Be here."

    And then their gone
    Over the oceans beyond
They write to their loved ones
    Letters of joy,
    Letters of sorrow,
    and they say

    "Oh my Darling,
    My lovely Darling,
    Have no fears,
    I will soon be there,
And don't you miss me dear."

    Many years pass
    The loved ones do too,
    Many tears, many wishes,
    But then,
    From the oceans beyong
    They hear a whisper,
    A whisper in the wind,
    and it says

    "Don't cry My Darling,
    My lovely Darling,
    Have no fears,
I may no longer be here,
But I am always with you Dear."
